Is it a subscription?
No: a one-time purchase. Every update is included.
How many computers?
One key works on 2 computers at once, Mac or Windows in any mix. To move it, choose Deactivate This Computer… in Settings › Licence, or free a computer when you activate on a third.
Do I need an account?
Not to buy: you pay with an email address, and the key comes to it.
Refunds?
Within 14 days, ask and you get all of it back, no questions asked: Terms › Refunds. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.
